El Centro de Estudios de Oriente Medio de la FPSC (CEMOFPSC) organiza, en colaboración con la Red Euro-Árabe de ONG para el Desarrollo y la Integración (READI) y Casa Árabe, el Seminario: La eficacia de la Ayuda Humanitaria: Nuevos Actores Humanitarios en Oriente Medio, que tendrá lugar el próximo 9 de marzo en el Salón de Embajadores de Casa Árabe en Madrid, y está financiado por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación.
Se abordarán temas como la necesidad de una mayor cooperación entre los actores de acción humanitaria y la importancia de la adaptación de la respuesta más específicamente al contexto, por parte de la comunidad humanitaria internacional, para garantizar su eficacia.
Se analizará la importancia de una financiación humanitaria basada en las necesidades humanitarias, en el marco de un panorama humanitario cambiante, así como los posibles cambios en el sector humanitario.
El seminario pretende contribuir al debate sobre la eficacia y los retos de la Ayuda Humanitaria de acuerdo con el Plan Director de la Cooperación Española (PD) 2013-2016 y la agenda de trabajo prevista para la Cumbre Mundial Humanitaria del 2016 (World Humanitarian Summit, Estudio Preliminar Inicial, www.worldhumanitariansummit.org).
The FPSCs Middle East Studies Centre (CEMOFPSC in Spanish) organises, in cooperation with the Euro-Arab NGO Network for Development and Integration (READI) and Arab House, the seminar: La eficacia de la Ayuda Humanitaria: Nuevos Actores Humanitarios en Oriente Medio. It will take place next March 9th in the Ambassadors Hall of Casa Árabe in Madrid, and is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
It will deal with topics such as the need of a greater cooperation between actors of humanitarian aid and the relevance of the answer adjustment, specifically to the context, by the International Humanitarian Community, to guarantee its effectiveness.
The relevance of a humanitarian fund based on humanitarian needs, a changing humanitarian landscape, and the possible changes on the humanitarian sector will we analised.
The seminarys goal is to contribute to the debate on the effectiveness and challenges of Humanitarian Aid in accordance with the 1013-2016 Master Plan of Spanish Cooperation (PD) and the work agenda for the 2016 Humanitarian World Summit (World Humanitarian Summit, Initial Preliminary Study, www.worldhumanitariansummit.org).
